Tuesday 5th May 2020 Lo: To explore the narrative structure of a film. How will this work?: this unit will focus of Film and Media Language you will normally have 3 media lessons every 2 weeks Obviously, if we were at school, we would have access to equipment and be able to do practical lessons. This will not be easy with remote learning. You will have 2 theory based and one practical lesson a fortnight. Fake news is false information used to shape your views, opinions or ideas. The information is often exaggerated heavily biased or simply not true. Thursday 8th October 2020 Visual elements What elements are there? headline layout/image display type kicker intro/stand first/deck byline body copy lead nut graf baseline subhead pull quote header/footer folio Headline- the main text or title on either a magazine or newspaper Layout image- the layout refers to how the text or images are presented; the order or style of the pieces of information and pictures. Image refers to pictures placed on the page. A layout picture or image is the pain image on the front cover. Display type- a type of text to catch the readers attention. Usually in bold or bright colours. Most common to use eye-catching fonts and large text sizes. kicker- a few first words to catch the readers interest. Something to intrigue them to continue reading.
